For characterizing drivetrain technology and propulsion components, Polytec’s laser vibrometers are the well-established gold-standard for non-contact and reactionless vibration measurement and modal analysis. Precision measurement is critical to the product development cycle providing accurate feedback between design iterations and prototype modal tests.

The PSV-3D Scanning Vibrometer captures structural dynamics in three dimensions with precision and high spatial resolution. Polytec’s unique robot-based Structural Test Station known as RoboVib® enables automated, unattended modal tests, completed overnight on large and complex-shaped test objects requiring a high number of measurement points. Polytec’s white-light interferometers are just the right choice for components with precision-manufactured surfaces, high production tolerances and reliable pass-fail-decisions.

TopMap systems are designed for rapid, non-contact inspection of large areal surfaces, detecting critical quality control and form parameters like flatness, step-height and roughness. Furthermore, should you prefer, Polytec’s resident experts can perform measurement services on your components at advanced in-house test centers or at the convenience of your own site.

From September 22 to 25, 2020, the German Materials Society (DGM) is organizing the "Materials Science and Engineering Congress" (MSE), which this year is taking place entirely virtually. During the four-day conference there will be an exhibition where, among other things, the "Polytec GmbH" will be presented.
